James Dyson made big news in Singapore, as he spent 70 million Singapore dollars (300 million yuan or so) on an apartment in the tallest building in Singapore’s core zone at a record high price.
Reputed as “super penthouse”, the house is on the 62-64 floor of Wallich Residence. 181 residential units are featured by the 290-meter Tanjong Pagar Center (also known as Guoco Tower) of Wallich Residence on the 39-64 floor.
Dyson’s industrial park can be viewed by James Dyson in his mansion, which, to a certain extent, proves his high attention to electric vehicle projects.
Mr. Dyson’s mansion covers 21,108 square feet and has five bedrooms, a dining room, wet and dry kitchen, a study, a living room, a recreation room and a utility room.
Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom and the master bedroom and junior master bedroom also have a spacious walk-in closet. He and his loved ones can relax in the family room, from where they can enter a private garden with a viewing deck overlooking the city skyline.
Entertain guests can entertain themselves on the 63rd floor dining and lounge area or on the 64th rooftop terrace.
The mansion also features 600 bottles of wine cellar, bar facilities, private pool, cabana and jacuzzi.
As a resident of the “Super Penthouse”, a dedicated butler will also be available 24 hours a day to meet all of Dyson’s needs. Wallich Residence declares that “every request will be meticulously met”

It is said that former Taobao CEO Sun Yuyu (also husband of Ant Financial Director Peng Lei), one of the eighteen pioneers of Alibaba, also lived in this super mansion.
A few years ago, a client showed me James Dyson’s mansion amid my business visit to England. I looked down in the direction he pointed, only to find a mountain. “Yes, James Dyson’s mansion is in the mountain”, said the client. Later I found the mansion big indeed, as shown in the pictures online.
