The home Appliance Giant Group SEB issue the annual report on 2017.From the annual report of 2017,SEB the reveal the growth of their vacuum cleaner business.We can see below description from the report.

“The introduction of several innovative products, in response to new consumer expectations (nutrition and health, home-made,convenience, well-being, etc.), often leading to major commercial success: the Actifry fryer with only a spoonful of oil; the Silence Force Cyclonic 4AAAA and Silence Force Extreme vacuum cleaners, which combine power with very low noise levels; silent fans, the Airforce 360 versatile handstick vacuum, smart appliances (Cookeo and Optigrill), and the Cuisine Companion cooking food processor; anti-limescale iron and high pressure steam generator irons, etc.”

Despite high comparatives, the very strong dynamic continued in home care, with growth in activity of 30% on a like-for-like basis, driven by all the product families. Bagless vacuum cleaners are the main driver of growth, with further progress in Turkey, where the Group is expanding its product offering, including with locally manufactured products, and performing well in France, Spain, Germany and Russia, among others. Sales are also growing rapidly
and steadily in China. In Europe and Turkey, which has adopted European regulations on performance labeling of vacuum cleaners, the Silence Force 4A model is a big driver of growth. Meanwhile, the Clean and Steam vacuum cleaner has continued to grow, mainly in France and Italy. Lastly, the launch of the Air Force 360 has enabled the Group to position itself in the new segment of versatile handstick vacuum cleaners with a high-quality model with robust sales, particularly in France, Germany and Spain. As in previous years, these excellent performances resulted in increased market share in fl oor care for the Group in Europe;

So we can see that Silence Force 4A model is really the growth Engine of SEB(Rowenta)’s flool care business.

We can see above that the the Silence force 4A model is the New Bagged model for the big driver growth of Rowenta Vacuum cleaner.For multi-Cyclonic model,it is also with Silence design but due ot the performance on Carpet,it could only be AAA(Energy A,Dpu Hard floor A,Dust re-emission A,Dpu Carpet C).

If we look over other big brands that we can find all the top brands lauched the Low noise vacuum cleaner.

Electrolux Ultra silencer EL7063A,this is said to be the lowest noise level,only 61dB.

Miele C3,around 64dB.

Bosch GS50 Prosilence,66dB

Philips also launch some silence model FC9306 ,the Noise level only 70dB in 1250W,this is availale for ErP II regulation and the currently not available on Amazon.So i guess there will be an updated version soon for lower noise level,maybe even lower than Electrolux.
